At Twilight

At Twilight (Stacy Wills, 2013)
alcohol inks on clay board + sacred altering

At twilight,
when everything
softens, the stark lines
that once so easily
defined our world,
become blurred,
and all we took for
 granted in the light
 now, we strain to see.
At twilight,
when everything
softens - our gaze
must soften as well,
for only then
will we be able
to truly see aright -
the wonder...the glory...
the essence
of all that is.

  1. Oo-Oo-Oo.... Lovely. The art is a wonderful meditation piece! And the poem gave me goosebumps... especially this: "our gaze must soften as well, for only then will we be able to truly see aright - the wonder...the glory... the essence of all that is..." Wow - Yes!
